Carer’s Wellbeing Pilot Project Update – November 2020

20 of our parent carers are taking part in this pilot project. Each carer will be able to participate in their chosen wellbeing activity, which will be purchased by WSUK (up to £300 per carer).

The current COVID restrictions have unfortunately meant that our carer participants have either been unable to start or have paused their wellbeing activities (e.g. spa and beauty treatments, complimentary therapies and driving lessons). The National Lottery Community Fund is fully aware of the challenges of conducting projects at this difficult time and understand that this may result in delays. Therefore, the current funding will remain available for our carers to continue their wellbeing activities as the restrictions ease.

If you are a carer and are interested in possibly participating in this project in the future, please contact us to register interest either by email admin@wolframsyndrome.co.uk;or phone  01903 211358.

This pilot project is being funded through a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. Thank you to all the players of the National Lottery from everyone at WSUK.
